An AMBER Alert issued Saturday for two missing Kansas girls has been canceled.  Both girls have reportedly been found safe, and the suspect was taken into custody.

An AMBER Alert was issued Saturday by the Arkansas State Police and the Missouri State Highway Patrol for two missing Kansas girls. Seven-year-old Nora Jackson and 3-year-old Aven Jackson were reportedly abducted by their father, 40-year-old Donny Jackson, from a residence in Leavenworth.

The Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from the residence. Deputies arrived and discovered a homicide scene with two deceased male juveniles and two missing girls, identified as Nora and Aven Jackson.

Both girls are described as slender-build white females with blue eyes and blonde shoulder-length hair. Nora Jackson was last seen wearing a black shirt with white polka dots, black leggings and brown boots, and Aven Jackson was wearing a red t-shirt, black sparkling leggings and white and pink Velcro shoes.

Donny Jackson is described as a 5-foot-11 white male weighing 190 pounds. He has blue eyes, long brown hair with a slight red color and a full beard.

Donny Jackson is reported to be in a black 2008 Honda Accord with the Kansas license plate number 266MXB. He is believed to be traveling in Arkansas, Oklahoma, or Texas.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Donny Jackson, Nora Jackson or Aven Jackson should contact 911 or the Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Office toll-free at 1-800-572-7463.
