The Bombers jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first half and held off Siloam Springs 28-19 for their fourth victory of the season. Quarterback Bryce McKay had another big night with three passing touchdowns and one rushing.

Mountain Home scored on its first possession, when McKay hooked up with Logen Walker on a 42-yard scoring pass to cap a nine-play 75-yard drive.

Later in the first quarter, McKay had a 5-yard touchdown run to make it 14-0.

Mountain Home pushed the lead to 21-0 with 1:22 left before halftime, when Gage Hershberger took a screen pass 50 yards for a score.

The Panthers got on the board when Hunter Talley and Christian Ledeker hooked up for a 59-yard touchdown pass.

McKay would find Dawson Tabor in the end zone early in the fourth quarter to put Mountain Home up 28-7.

Siloam Springs would add a pair of fourth quarter touchdowns. Jeff Phizema broke free for a 19-yard scoring run, and then after recovering the onside kick, the Panthers scored a controversial touchdown. Mountain Home’s Dillon Drewry intercepted a pass in the end zone, but the receiver reached around to try to gain possession, and it was ruled the offensive player caught the ball and ruled a touchdown.

McKay finished 14 of 18 through the air for 250 yards to go along with 76 rushing yards. Hershberger finished with 85 yards on the ground and 82 through the air, and Walker had 79 yards on three catches.

Mountain Home improves to 4-4 on the season and 2-3 in the 6A West. Siloam Springs falls to 3-5 and 1-4.

The Bombers have their final regular season home game next Friday against Russellville.
