The season came to an end Tuesday for the Mountain Home High School volleyball team in the Class 5A State Tournament at Greenwood. The match went to all five sets with Hot Springs Lakeside topping the Lady Bombers 23-25, 25-17, 25-18, 20-25 and 15-13. Mountain Home finishes the year with a mark of 14-8.

Head coach Jill Daves says “The Lady Bombers went up against the number one team and never gave up. They gave them all that they wanted. I was so proud of the girls in how they worked together as a team and refused to lay down. The game did not end the way we wanted but we definitely surprised Lakeside and had them worried. I will give the girls 2-3 weeks off and we will get back to work for next season”.
