Arrest made in case of sexually-explicit video involving child

A Fulton County man, 56-year-old Charles Wesley Casey of Mammoth Spring, has been arrested and charged with three felony counts of distributing, possessing, or viewing of matter depicting sexually-explicit conduct involving a child.According to the probable cause affidavit, a video Casey allegedly uploaded in November 2019 was reported by Google and referred to the Arkansas State Police. The case was then turned over to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office for investigation.

Last month, Casey was interviewed regarding the uploaded video. He reportedly said he did not remember the source of the video, but it was sent to him. When asked why he had gone back to look at the video multiple times, he allegedly said it appealed to his curiosity.

Bond for Casey was set at $2,000.
