Marion County and Circuit Clerk Dawn Moffet has announced the public closure of her office for the next 14 days, due to a positive test for COVID-19.
Moffet says the closure will not affect the counting of votes or reporting of totals for Tuesday’s general election.
Moffet also encourages the public to call her office at 870-449-6226 to see if their needs can be handled over the phone. Anyone that needs to drop off documents to the clerk’s office may do so by leaving them in the treasurer’s office. The clerk’s office can be reached via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
“We apologize for any inconvenience,” Moffet adds, “and thank you for your patience.”
