Yellville-Summit falls in OT; Melbourne tops Mountain View

The Yellville-Summit High School football team fell just short of wrapping up the regular season with a win on Friday. The game went to overtime, as the Panthers were edged out by Mountainburg 42-40. Yellville-Summit falls to 3-7 on the season and 2-5 in the 2A-4.

Melbourne had a good night on the road beating Mountain View 44-8. The Bearkatz improve to 7-2 overall and 3-2 in the 3A-2. The Yellowjackets drop to 5-5 and 1-4.

Harrison was able to finish the regular season by running the gauntlet in the 5A-West. The Goblins, ranked third in Class 5A by the Arkansas Sports Media, pounded Pea Ridge 49-28. Harrison is 9-1 on the year and 6-0 in the league.
