Less than a week after winning her second straight state title, a Mountain Home student athlete has made a commitment to continue competing on the collegiate level. Senior Marcie Cudworth will be joining the cross country and track programs at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville.
Cudworth is a two-time individual state champion for Mountain Home’s cross country team, and she helped lead the Lady Bombers to the team title this year. In May, she was selected by the Arkansas Track Coaches Association as a member of the Arkansas Track and Field All-Academic Team.
Cudworth is set to join Arkansas Tech for the 2021-2022 school year.
