The Baxter County Library is distributing fall meals to kids and teens every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 3:30 to 4:30. To-go meals are offered to students 18 years and younger at no cost and may be picked up in the library foyer. Children can receive one meal every Tuesday and Thursday.

The child must be present with a parent the first time of pick-up. Parents can then sign a waiver to pick up subsequent meals without a child. Staff are taking necessary precautions wearing masks, gloves and disinfecting surfaces before and after distributing meals.

The program is a community collaboration with the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas. Meal distributions at the library will run through Dec. 29. Look for more information to come about 2021 meal distributions.
