MH runners shine at All-Star meet in Tulsa

Mountain Home was well-represented by four runners in the Arkansas vs. Oklahoma All-Star Cross Country Meet Saturday in Tulsa. Oklahoma was able to sweep Arkansas in both races on its home turf.

A week after winning the Class 5A state title, Marcie Cudworth crossed the line in fifth place with a time of 19:33. Cudworth was the second runner to finish for Arkansas. All-State runner Rylee Patterson ended up 32nd with a mark of 21:02.

Whit Lawrence also entered the race after winning the individual boys’ championship last week, and he was seventh overall at 16:19. Lawrence was the third Arkansas runner to cross the finish line. All-State selection Andrew Westphal finished 29th at 17:03.
