Another local school district is closing its classrooms to a portion of its students due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Flippin School District announced its freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors will be in virtual learning mode this week, and students in preschool through eighth grade will continue with on-site instruction as normal.

While there will be no face-to-face instruction for high school students, those needing access to the internet, assistance with lessons, meals or supervision for the day can attend school. Staff members will be on the campus during school hours, and buses will run as normal.

Student therapies will still be available. Parents will need to contact the high school office to make arrangements.

Athletic coaches will communicate with their athletes regarding activities and after school practice.
