The Mountain Home High School girls’ wrestling team began the season on the right note at Springdale on Saturday. The Lady Bombers won the Har-Ber Lady Wildcat Invitational Tournament, as they finished 12 points ahead of Bentonville. Mountain Home bested six Northwest Arkansas schools in Class 6A and Jay, Oklahoma.
The Lady Bombers ended up with six medalists on the podium. Victoria Bevel, Amelia Frounfelter and Amelia Adams won their weight classes, and Emma Martin, Riley Straka and Kylee Sabella each finished third.
