Arvest Bank announces ‘We Love Teachers’ winners

As part of its “We Love Teachers” campaign, Arvest Bank announces 10 teachers in Baxter, Marion and Boone counties have been awarded prizes of $500. A total of 160 awards, totaling $80,000, are being presented this year through the bank’s four-state footprint.

Three winners were announced in Baxter County. The Mountain Home School District is represented by Tiffany Stone of Nelson-Wilks-Herron Elementary School and Danielle Pugsley of Mountain Home High School Career Academies. The other winner is Brent Williams of Cotter Junior High School.

Three more prizes were awarded in Marion County. The winners include Makayla Brannon of Flippin Elementary School, Danielle Davenport of Yellville-Summit Elementary School and Casey Dean of the Ozark Mountain School District’s Bruno-Pyatt campus.

The remaining four winners are in Boone County. The list includes Chelsee Morris of Lead Hill Elementary School, Kent Mathis of the Bergman School District, Nicole Racic of the Valley Springs School District and Mary Cecil of Skyline Heights Elementary School in the Harrison School District.

Arvest Bank’s initiative to honor educators was launched Oct. 5. Nominations were accepted via the bank’s Facebook.
