Local governmental offices will be closed Thursday and Friday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Baxter County and the City of Mountain offices will be closed both days, with plans to reopen on Monday.
Gassville City Hall will be closed both days as well, with city hall to reopen for regular business Monday morning at 8. Mayor Jeff Braim reminds citizens to call 911 for fire or police emergencies and 870-421-7723 for any other emergencies.
All Marion County offices, including the Transfer Station, are closed and also plan to reopen for business on Monday.
Thanksgiving is a federal holiday, with no postal deliveries and government offices closed.
