Baxter Regional Medical Center (BRMC) has announced it will conduct community-wide COVID-19 testing in December on its campus.Chief Operating Officer David Fox released the details during BRMC’s weekly COVID-19 update Wednesday morning with KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot news.

These community-wide testing events will be conducted in a different manner. Fox says, it will not be a drop-in or drive-thru event.

Those tested are expected to receive their results within 48 to 72 hours, according to Fox. The results will be provided through an online health portal or mailed to the test recipient’s home, if requested.
