A house fire in Newton County Monday has claimed the life of the sole occupant, 41-year-old Twana Breedlove.Newton County sheriff’s investigator Mike Blocker says the department responded to a call at 11:25 at a residence located at 30438 Arkansas 123 near Western Grove.
Family members, who check on Breedlove daily, had already removed her body when first responders and firemen arrived on the scene.
Western Grove’s Fire Department was assisted by Hasty and Valley Springs
Newton County Coroner Cody Middleton says the body has been sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy to verify the cause of death.
The fire remains under investigation.
