A boil order has been issued for the entire Compton Waterworks system in Newton County.The Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) notes on its website the boil order was issued Monday morning due to a main break.
Water intended for consumption by customers of Compton Waterworks should be boiled for five minutes.
The order will remain in effect until samples are cleared by the ADH.
