Basketball makes up the local Thursday schedule, as Mountain Home will send four of its junior high teams to Paragould to meet Greene County Tech. The freshmen will play in the main junior high gym, as the girls tip off at 5 p.m., and the boys will follow. The seventh graders will be at Reynolds Gym starting with the girls at 4.
In other junior high action, Yellville-Summit travels to Green Forest for three boys’ games, and Valley Springs hosts Kingston.
On the high school level, the Gainesville girls will play their opener in the Sparta Lady Trojan Invitational. The Lady Bulldogs take on Bradleyville at 5:30.
Lutie’s boys will continue action in the Seymour Bank Winter Classic. The Indians face Cabool in the consolation bracket at 5:30.
Elsewhere, Cotter entertains Bakersfield, Norfork makes the trip to Timbo, the Gainesville boys head to Conway, Dora’s girls travel to Mountain Grove, the Viola girls make the trip to Greers Ferry to play West Side, Viola’s boys head to Thayer, Salem travels to Melbourne, Marshall makes the trip to Conway Christian, Lead Hill heads to Jasper, and Bergman is home against Omaha.
On the junior varsity level, Flippin travels to Alpena, and Ozark Mountain will have two boys’ games with Harrison at Western Grove.
