MH splits 4 junior high games at Greene County Tech

Mountain Home had mixed results Thursday splitting four junior high basketball games at Greene County Tech in Paragould.

The freshmen boys’ game ended with the Junior Bombers defeating the Junior Eagles 28-24. Braiden Dewey led Mountain Home with 15 points. The Junior Bombers are now 4-4 on the year.

Mountain Home did not fare as well in the freshman girls’ contest, as they were edged out by Greene County Tech 39-37. Ashlyn Estes was the Junior Lady Bombers’ top scorer with 13 points, and Whitten Coleman added 10. Mountain Home drops to 10-2 on the year.

Mountain Home was able to get the win in the seventh grade boys’ game. The Seventh Grade Bombers got past Tech 23-20.

The evening began with the seventh grade girls’ game. Mountain Home fell to Tech 29-25.

Mountain Home’s freshmen will host Annie Camp on Monday. The seventh graders will head to Salem.
