MH sweeps Ozark Mountain in junior high games

Mountain Home had a good day at the Hangar sweeping four junior high basketball games over Ozark Mountain Saturday.

The Eighth Grade Bomber boys defeated the Bears 43-32. Finley Chafin led Mountain Home with 12 points, and Jackson Criner added 10. The Eighth Grade Bombers improve to 5-5 on the season.

Mountain Home also took the eighth grade girls’ contest over Ozark Mountain 44-33. The Eighth Grade Lady Bombers were led by Bailey Ritenberg and Whitten Coleman with 12 points each. Mountain Home is now 7-2 on the year.

The seventh grade boys’ game ended with Mountain Home doubling up Ozark Mountain 40-20. Drew Haney was the Seventh Grade Bombers’ top scorer with 15 points.

The day began with the seventh grade girls’ game, as Mountain Home topped Ozark Mountain 50-14. Jayla Yonkers paced the Seventh Grade Lady Bombers with 17 points, and Laken Anderson chipped in 10.

Both eighth grade teams will continue the home stand Monday, as they face Greene County Tech.
