MHHS girls travel to Greenbrier Tuesday; boys’ games this week postponed

High school basketball makes up much of the local Tuesday schedule, as Mountain Home’s girls will have their last road trips for two-and-a-half weeks. The Lady Bombers will continue conference play, as they meet Greenbrier. The Bomber boys were scheduled to play, but both boys’ games games have been postponed.
Mountain Home’s girls are 2-14 on the season and 1-4 in the 5A-West. The Lady Bombers ended up losing at Greenwood on Friday. Greenbrier is 12-5 and 2-4. The Lady Panthers are coming off an easy win at Alma.
Tip-off at the Panther Pavilion is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday’s game can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com.
Also in the 5A-West, Vilonia hosts Russellville, Siloam Springs travels to Van Buren, and Alma entertains Greenwood.

Gainesville’s boys will play their opener in the Sparta Trojan Invitational Tournament. The Bulldogs meet New Covenant Academy at 7:30.

The Dora girls will be in Mansfield for their first game in the Lady Lion Invitational Tournament. The Lady Falcons face Springfield Catholic at 7:30.

Elsewhere, Norfork makes the trip to Mountain View, Flippin is home against Jasper, Yellville-Summit hosts Alpena for Senior Night, Ozark Mountain heads to Omaha, Bakersfield’s boys travel to Theodosia to take on Lutie, Viola entertains Calico Rock for Senior Night, Salem makes the trip to Tuckerman, Izard County heads to Shirley, Mammoth Spring travels to Paragould to play Crowley’s Ridge Academy, Melbourne is home against White County Central, Marshall makes the trip to North Little Rock to face LISA Academy North, Timbo heads to Fox to take on Rural Special, Lead Hill travels to Deer, Valley Springs makes the trip to Lincoln.
