Tuesday basketball schedule includes MHHS girls hosting Greenbrier; boys’ game postponed

High school basketball makes up much of the local Tuesday schedule, and Mountain Home’s girls will continue their five-game home stand as they face Greenbrier. The boys’ game was postponed, and there is currently no scheduled makeup date.
Mountain Home is 2-16 on the season and 1-6 in the 5A-West after falling to Alma on Friday. Greenbrier is 13-6 and 3-5 after getting beat up by Greenwood. This is the second meeting between the two teams, with the Lady Bombers falling to the Lady Panthers 45-37 a week ago.
Tip-off at Bomber Gymnasium is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday’s game can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com.
Also in the 5A-West, Vilonia travels to Russellville, Siloam Springs hosts Van Buren, and Alma makes the trip to Greenwood.

Elsewhere, Cotter entertains Alpena, Norfork is home against Viola, Flippin hosts Yellville-Summit, Ozark Mountain heads to Valley Springs, Bakersfield’s boys entertain Dora, the Gainesville boys travel to Seymour, Lutie is home against Bradleyville, Dora’s girls host Norwood, Salem makes the trip to Pleasant Plains to take on Midland, the Calico Rock girls entertain Shirley, Izard County is home against Rural Special for Senior Night, Mammoth Spring will send three boys’ teams to Jonesboro to play Ridgefield Christian, Melbourne hosts Sloan-Hendrix for Senior Night, Marshall entertains South Side-Bee Branch, Mountain View is home against Harding Academy for Senior Night, Lead Hill hosts Jasper, Bergman heads to Green Forest, and Omaha entertains Kingston.
