The potential for freezing rain continues to be a concern for the Twin Lakes Area, as the week continues. A winter weather advisory will be in effect for Ozark, Taney and Douglas counties in Southern Missouri from 6 p.m. Tuesday until 6 a.m. Thursday. There will also be a winter storm watch for Howell County in Southern Missouri from Tuesday evening through late Wednesday night and for Izard and Stone counties in North Central Arkansas from Wednesday evening through Thursday morning.

Meteorologist Jeff Hood from the National Weather Service office in North Little Rock says the freezing rain could bring ice accumulation to North Central Arkansas and Southern Missouri.
