The Twin Lakes Area is having a break from the winter weather, but the break is scheduled to end Tuesday. Another winter storm will be moving in and producing more snowfall in North Central Arkansas and Southern Missouri.

Meteorologist Jeff Hood from the National Weather Service office in North Little Rock says the snow will spread over the eastern portions of Oklahoma and move into to the Natural State Tuesday night and Wednesday.

North Central Arkansas will be under another winter storm warning from 6 p.m. Tuesday until noon Thursday, and Southern Missouri will be under a winter weather advisory from 9 p.m. Tuesday until 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Hood says the additional snowfall will have the potential of making travel more dangerous on local roadways.
