The recent rounds of winter weather have led to hazardous travel conditions throughout the state. Arkansas Department of Transportation officials say some portions of the state are worse than others.
ArDOT Public Information Officer Dave Parker says Northwest Arkansas is looking better since the snow has stopped. Parker adds the problem spot is Interstate 40 near Lonoke.

For area residents whose roads may still be snow-covered, Parker says ArDOT has to mainly focus on the interstates and other main roads as opposed to secondary roads, because the traffic is more frequent.
