A rural Mountain Home woman was sentenced to two years in prison during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Monday.

Thirty-nine-old Tara Lynn Pruitt was arrested in late January when officers went to the residence of Jeremiah Partee on County Road 27. The Arkansas Division of Community Corrections was seeking Partee who had absconded.

Pruitt who shared the home with Partee also had a warrant from the same agency.

When officers searched the residence, they reported finding numerous items of paraphernalia used to smoke or inject methamphetamine.

The items were reported to be scattered in every room in the house, as well as outside on the driveway.

There were also containers found in the house in which “methamphetamine appeared to have been prepared for injection,” according to the probable cause affidavit.

The 42-year-old Partee also faces charges stemming from the drug paraphernalia being found in his house.

He has also picked up more serious charges, including those stemming from an incident on Feb. 17 in which he led police on a high-speed chase on icy roads.

The chase ended when Partee crashed his vehicle on First Street near U.S. Highway 62B.

Partee is also being held for Missouri officials in Howell and Ozark counties.
