Applications are being accepted for the Fulton County Fair scholarship open to graduating seniors in Fulton County who have participated in county, district or state fairs. Applications are available at fultoncountyfair.org. The deadline to turn in the completed applications is March 31.
The Fulton County Fair Foundation presented six $1,000 scholarships in 2020. Since the scholarship program started in 2013, $38,000 in scholarships have been awarded.
The scholarships are funded by donations and by the cookie jar auction held at the fair each year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, last year’s auction was canceled, and the foundation is looking for donations to help fund this year’s scholarships.
