The season began Tuesday for the Mountain Home High School boys’ soccer team. The Bombers ended up playing to a 1-1 draw with Green Forest. Luke Henson scored Mountain Home’s only goal off an assist from Gage Slaughter, Luke Darracq recorded eight saves, and Asher Adams added another save.
Mountain Home’s junior varsity squad did not fare as well falling to Green Forest 4-0. Adams and Robert Dover each recorded three saves for the JV Bombers.
Mountain Home will open the 5A-West on Friday at Alma.
