District play continued Tuesday for larger schools in Missouri, as West Plains’ boys were one and done in the Class 5, District 9 Tournament. The Zizzers were eliminated at Marshfield 50-45.
The Class 4, District 11 Tournament held its semifinal round on the girls’ side.
Hollister watched its season come to an end on its home floor. The top-seeded Lady Tigers were upset by Ava 51-44.
Forsyth will be the Lady Bears’ opponent in Thursday’s championship game. The Lady Panthers went on the road and beat Willow Springs 61-53.
The Branson girls were bounced from the Class 6, District 11 Tournament. The Lady Pirates fell to top-seeded Nixa 77-34 in the semifinals.
