Operation Christmas Child North Central Arkansas is seeking year-round volunteers. The shoebox ministry is active in Baxter and the surrounding eight counties making up the North Central Arkansas effort.Operation Christmas Child is a division of Franklin Graham’s Samaritan’s Purse — the largest child evangelism ministry in the world.Through Operation Christmas Child, tangible gifts of love are packed in shoeboxes – filled with school supplies, toiletries, clothes/shoes, stuffed animals, toys, games, soccer balls/pumps, dolls, etc. These boxes are placed in the hands of local pastors in over 100 countries. They in turn distribute the gifts to local children. along with the message of hope, love and salvation that Jesus loves them.

For those wishing to be part of a global, eternal impact ministry but without a desire, resources or health to travel to another country, Operation Christmas Child might be a good fit.

Volunteers are needed to pack shoeboxes and coordinate packing within schools, clinics, businesses, athletic teams, community groups and churches.
