The Izard County baseball team was able to rally from a 5-1 second-inning deficit on Saturday. The Cougars came back and defeated Midland 8-5.
Izard County took the lead for good on a two-run double by Landon McBride in the fifth inning. McBride was also the winning pitcher, as he shut out the Mustangs in five relief innings.
