Tuesday schedule includes MHHS baseball, softball teams at Vilonia

Baseball and softball make up much of the local Monday schedule.

The Mountain Home High School baseball team returns to 5A-West action in a varsity doubleheader at Vilonia. The first game begins at 4:30.
Elsewhere, Cotter hosts Flippin, Norfork entertains Greers Ferry West Side, Ozark Mountain travels to Lead Hill, Gainesville makes the trip to Mountain Grove, Viola heads to Bergman, Salem travels to Tuckerman, Izard County makes the trip to Concord, Mammoth Spring is home against Hillcrest, Melbourne heads to Newark to meet Cedar Ridge, Marshall travels to Conway to take on St. Joseph, Mountain View hosts Green Forest, and Valley Springs makes the short trip to Omaha.

Mountain Home’s high school softball team will also be in Vilonia for a conference doubleheader. The first game gets underway at 4:30.
In other high school softball, Flippin entertains Jasper, Yellville-Summit heads to Harrison, Dora is home against Houston, Viola travels to Shirley, Salem makes the trip to Tuckerman, Calico Rock hosts Mountain View, Izard County heads to Concord, Mammoth Spring entertains Sloan-Hendrix, and Melbourne travels to Newark to face Cedar Ridge.

Mountain Home’s junior high softball team will be at McClain Park meeting Academy. The first pitch on Freedom Field is scheduled for 6 p.m.
