North Arkansas Electric Cooperative (NAEC) will have two planned outages for members served by the Norfork Substation beginning at 4 a.m. Tuesday and 4 a.m. Friday.
The outages are necessary for Southwestern Power Administration personnel to perform work on the dam’s substation and switchyard safely.
Each outage is expected to last one-and-a-half hours and will affect the 1,938 member accounts in and around Norfork, Jordan, Lone Rock and Shady Grove areas. Affected members received an automated call at the number NAEC has on file Thursday afternoon.
