COVID vaccine clinics scheduled for Harrison, Summit

COVID-19 vaccination clinics are scheduled for both Harrison and Summit.

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center will host a community vaccination event on April 12 at the hospital from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. North Arkansas Regional Medical Center is located at 620 Noruth Main Street in Harrison.

Appointments will be required for this event, which will use the Pfizer vaccine. To make an appointment, call (870) 414-2021 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.  Monday through Friday 9 or on Monday, April 12.

All Arkansans ages 16 and up are now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Those not yet 18 years old will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian in order to be vaccinated.

A community vaccination event will be held at the Marion County Fairgrounds on April 16 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The fairgrounds is located at 513 E. Seawell Avenue in Summit.

The Marion County vaccination event will use the Johnson and Johnson one-dose vaccine, and shots will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be a limited number of vaccines available to anyone over the age of 18.
