The Baxter County Quorum Court has an eight-item agenda to consider when it meets for its regular monthly session Tuesday evening at 6.
Seven of the eight items are appropriation ordinances. Among them is a request from Sheriff John Montgomery to add a new position of a warrant/training officer in the Baxter County jail. The court will also consider a request for the veterans service budget for $2,000 to purchase a flag depository box.
The lone resolution on the agenda is for the reappointment of five individuals to the Clarkridge Volunteer Fire Department Board of Commissioners, an item tabled at last month’s meeting.
The quorum court meeting will be held in the second floor courtroom of the Baxter County Courthouse.
