Baseball and softball make up much of the local Thursday schedule.
Mountain Home’s junior varsity baseball team will be back at McClain Park for a doubleheader with Batesville. The first game at Pitts Field begins at 4:30.
On the varsity level, Norfork hosts Concord, Bakersfield entertains Summersville, Dora is home against Koshkonong, Viola hosts Calico Rock, Izard County travels to Greers Ferry to face West Side, Melbourne makes the trip to Providence to meet White County Central, and Bergman heads to Elkins.
In high school softball, Cotter entertains Ozark Mountain, Flippin travels to Hector, Gainesville makes the trip to Alton, Dora heads to Mammoth Spring, and Melbourne travels to Providence to take on White County Central.
Viola was scheduled to host Calico Rock but that game has been postponed until April 23.
