The ASUMH Technical Center will offer four new workforce development classes this spring.
Registration is now open for a six-week Ready2Weld class; a four-week Composites Workshop; a four-week class on Programmable Logic and Controller Training; and a four-week class on Robotics training. There is a limit of 10 students per class.
The Composites Workshop will start on April 13 and run through May 6. It will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
The Ready2Weld class will run from April 19 through May 27 and will meet Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.
The class on Programmable Logic and Controller Training will begin on May 10 and run through June 2. That class will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.
The Robotics Training class will begin on June 14 and run through July 7. It will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.
To register for any of the classes, sign up in person at the Technical Center, located at 4034 Highway 62 West in Mountain Home. Would-be students may also register by phone 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday by calling 870-508-6106.
