Davidson named director of ASUMH’s Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center

Kyle Davidson has been named the first director of the Arkansas State University-Mountain Home office of the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC).

Davidson came to ASBTDC in April 2021 after more than 20 years in banking, bringing experience in lending, operations, and executive management. He attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in agricultural business with an emphasis in finance. He graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University in 2008.

The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center at ASUMH serves Baxter, Fulton Izard, Marion, Searcy, and Stone Counties. The ASBTDC serves Arkansans who are starting new businesses, buying established businesses, looking to expand existing businesses, or commercializing research or technology. The office assists clients with every aspect of business creation, operation, and management at no fee, as well as provides resources for specialty business services. It collaborates with community partners to deliver services and offer local events and training at no cost.

Davidson and his wife, Janie, reside in Mountain Home with their two children, Tucker and Savannah.
