A Mountain Home man arrested in March and again in April on drug-related charges was sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to the charges against him during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.

Fifty-year-old Robert Anthony Irvin Jr. was arrested March 4 and again April 1. On both occasions, police first made contact with Irvin coming and going in the area of motels where police say they have had to make a number of drug-related arrests.

Police reported finding methamphetamine and paraphernalia for ingesting the drug in his vehicle or person.

Irvin has faced earlier drug-related charges as well.
