City of Mountain Home issues 17 business permits in May

The City of Mountain Home issued 17 business licenses in May according to Jeannie Anderson in the Building Inspection Department.

Those 17 permits include seven home-based businesses, three restaurants and two food truck-related businesses.

Business licenses were granted to

– Judy Matty for Let’s Travel With Judy, a travel agency located at 1216 Highway 62 East;

– Ken Clark for Chenal Family Therapy PLC, a mental health business located at 711 Bradley Drive; and

– Charles Tucker for Cross Hope Treatment Centers PLLC, an addiction treatment and counseling business located at 400 South College Street Suite 3.

Two licenses were granted to Christopher Gleason for Twin Lakes Surgical Services LLC and Nextmed Laser LLC, both medical equipment and rental services based in Tucson, Ariz.

New business licenses for restaurants were granted to Gabriel Fernandez for La Palmona, located at 1014 Highland Circle; Mark Bertel for Rio Burrito, located at 609 South Baker Street; and Jason Aamodt for The Fork By Norfork Brewing Company, located at 12 East 7th Street.

Isaac Donais was granted a business license for the Dos Gringos food truck. Andy Partney received a business license for the Mountain Home Food Truck Court.

The seven home-based business licenses were granted to

– Matt Archy for Electrical Connections LLC;

– Jamie Payne for The Lost Explorer Clothing & Boutique;

– Crystal King for Lyman’s Lawn Care;

– Candace Arnold for Happy Feet;

– David Primm for Primm & Proper Motorcycle Detail;

– Duston Cobb for Southern Edge Lawn Service; and

– Steven Wesley Acklin Jr. for Green Steve’s Audio Electronics.

Total licensing revenue for May was $10,185. That includes $7,557 in alcohol tax and licenses; a total of $2,438 in occupation licenses; $175 in garage sale licenses; and $15 in pet licenses.
