After a day off Thursday, the St. Louis Cardinals return to action Friday night when they host Minnesota to begin a three-game weekend series at Busch Stadium.
St. Louis is 51-51 and trails Milwaukee by 9 1/2 games in the National League Central Division. The Twins are 43-60 and in last place in the American League Central, 17 games behind the White Sox.
Wade LeBlanc (0-2) starts for the Cardinals while Jose Berrios (7-5) goes for Minnesota.
