A boil water order has been issued for residents in Rea Valley. According to the city of Flippin’s Facebook, the order will affect those residing south of the bridge.

According to a city spokesman, the order was issued following a water main break near the bridge.  The city has reportedly been working on the issue since 5 p.m. Friday. Crews remain on the scene attempting to get the problem corrected.

Under the boil notice, impacted customers are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption. Water used for drinking or food preparation should be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use.
