Mountain Home Treasurer Marshella Norell reports that the city collected $512,188.90 in September revenue from its own 1% sales tax. That is a 6% increase of $30,043 from its September 2020 sales tax collection of $482,145.

Sales tax reports are released by the state Department of Finance and Administration two months after the taxes are collected by area businesses. September’s numbers reflect area spending from July.
