Tuesday schedule includes Melbourne boys hosting state golf tourney

Golf, softball and basketball are included on the local Tuesday schedule.

Melbourne will be the host school for the Class 2A State Boys’ Golf Tournament. Tee time is scheduled for 9 a.m. at Cooper’s Hawk Golf Course.

In high school softball, Bakersfield hosts Norwood, and Gainesville makes the trip to Alton, and Dora heads to Hartville.

Norfork will give its fans a chance to preview the upcoming season. The Red-White Games will be held in the Bobby D. Hulse Gymnasium.
