The search continues for two individuals wanted in connection with a shooting incident in Boone County. Forty-nine-year-old Jason Stockstill and 38-year-old Heather Scallion are believed to be on foot.

Searcy County Sheriff Kenny Cassell says Stockstill is described as a 6-foot-1-inch-male weighing 200 pounds with a bald head and brown eyes. Sheriff Cassell says Stockstill is considered dangerous, and residents should keep houses and vehicles locked and keep watch for him at all times.

Boone County Sheriff Tim Roberson says the shooting incident occurred around 10:30 Thursday morning at a rural residence in Boone County. The victim, identified as 59-year-old Tim Blackburn, was transported to a local hospital, and at the last update, he was listed in critical condition. Blackburn’s pickup truck was also reportedly taken from the scene.

Sheriff Cassell says he located the vehicle on U.S. Highway 65 in St. Joe and gave chase. As other units responded, the vehicle turned into Grinder’s Ferry, and its occupants bailed out and fled on foot.

Anyone with information on Stockstill or Scallion should contact the Searcy County Sheriff’s Office at (870) 448-2340 or a local law enforcement agency. Boone and Searcy counties are assisted by the Arkansas State Police, the Marshall Police Department, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, the National Park Service, the Boone County and 20th Judicial District task forces and the K9 unit from the North Central Correctional Center in Calico Rock.
