A Boone County man, 45-year-old Christopher John Green of Harrison, has been arrested and is facing over 300 counts of sexual-related charges.

According to the 13-page probable cause affidavit, an investigation began in late March by the Harrison Police Department and the 14th Judicial District Drug Task Force. The investigation was initiated following a report being generated to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding child sexual assault material

The affidavit notes that during the course of the investigation, it was learned Green had allegedly contacted the Harrison Police Department to report an attempted sexual extortion by someone on the internet at his residence.

In addition, he faces 200 counts of criminal attempt to distribute, possess, or view matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child, a Class D felony.

His bond is set at $150,000.
