One of the Twin Lakes Area’s biggest fishing tournaments returns this week. The 2021 Bass Cat Owners Invitational is scheduled for Friday through Sunday on Lake Norfork.
The entry fee is $200 per team, and the participants must compete in a Bass Cat boat. Registration will be held Thursday from 8 to 6 at the pavilion in Hickory Park. Take-off and weigh-ins will be held at Lake Norfork Marina in Henderson.
Several prizes will be awarded including a new Bass Cat Sabre FTD and trailer to the winning team. Several drawings will also be held including the grand prize of a 2022 Bass Cat Cougar FTD, fully-rigged with a motor, a trailer and accessories.
Due to ongoing health concerns, all information, festivities and drawings will be done via virtual presentations. Every team must have at least one smart phone to participate. This will allow anglers to download the tournament app, view the prize drawings and receive tournament information.
