Basketball makes up much of the local Thursday schedule and includes the third night of the Bobby Hulse Memorial Classic at Norfork. Omaha meets Bay for a doubleheader starting with the girls at 4:30, and Ozark Mountain plays back-to-back games against Greers Ferry West Side at 7.
The Bad Boy Mowers Classic will continue at the Cougar Den on the campus of Izard County High School in Brockwell. Viola will be paired with Riverside for a doubleheader beginning with the girls at 4, Rural Special’s girls face Tuckerman at 6:30, and the Flippin boys take on Tuckerman at 7:45.
Elsewhere on the high school level, Jasper makes the trip to Fayetteville to play the New School.
In junior high basketball, Cotter hosts Kingston, and Bergman heads to Alpena.
