A Stone County woman was killed in a two-vehicle collision Wednesday evening at 5:46 in Mountain View.Arkansas State Police (ASP) report 38-year-old Shasta Corter was killed when the van she was driving was struck by a pickup driven by 45-year-old Athos Johnstone-Hinton. Both drivers were from Mountain View.
The ASP report notes Johnstone-Hinton was traveling north on State Highway 5 when his pickup crossed the center line and struck Corter’s southbound vehicle.
Three passengers in Corter’s vehicle were reported injured, 37-year-old Albert Corter and two children.
The report notes it was clear at the time of the crash, and the road was dry.
