The Mountain Home Rotary Club is hosting its annual fundraising event “Pancake Day Breakfast with Santa” Saturday beginning at 7:30 a.m.

Breakfast will be held in the cafeteria of the Mountain Home High School. Items on the menu include pancakes, syrup, butter, sausage patties, orange juice, coffee and milk upon request.

Tickets are $5 per person and may be purchased from any Rotarian.

The pancake day fundraiser is normally held in either October or November, so this is the first time Santa will make an appearance at the event.

The Mountain Home Rotary Club fundraising event allows for Baxter County area high school seniors to receive college scholarships. In the past, the Rotary Club has issued around $18,000 each year for students. Scholarship applications are filled out by each school, reviewed by the Rotary board’s scholarship committee and later announced.

Locations for ticket pick up include:
Chamber of Commerce, 1337 U.S. Highway 62 West, Mountain Home;
First Security Bank, 105 East Ninth Street, Mountain Home; and
Gene’s Trout Resort, 270 River Acres Drive, Salesville.
