High school basketball makes up the local Wednesday schedule, as a few area teams will compete in tournaments and classics.
Two teams will be in Jonesboro for their openers in the NEA Invitational Basketball Tournament. Salem’s boys meet Valley View at 9, and the Izard County girls face Cedar Ridge at 7:30. Both games will be at First National Bank Arena on the campus of Arkansas State University.
Dora’s girls will play their last game in the 12 Courts of Christmas in Kansas City, Missouri. The Lady Falcons will take on Odessa at 2.
